For over 40 years, Caring Hands has held a peanut butter and jelly collection in May to benefit the food pantry at the Round Rock Area Serving Center which serves clients from Round Rock, Hutto, Wells Branch and a few Auston zip codes.
Once children are out of school, the free breakfast and lunch programs often end. PB and J can be eaten for all three meals of the day as well as serve as a wholesome snack.
Please be generous and bring jars that children can handle (preferably not the HUGE Costco vats) of PB and J to the May luncheon. If you are unable to attend the May luncheon, feel free to give your items to any Board member or drop them by my home.
Thank you for your continual support and generosity,
Ellen Kiefer and Barbara Whitehead, Caring Hands Chairs
