Our Connections

Caring Hands

Caring Hands is the volunteer arm of New Neighbors of Greater Round Rock and is open to all members.

Caring Hands volunteers with local organizations throughout the area. We decorate placemats for Meals on Wheels, throw Halloween and Valentine’s Day parties at AGE of Texas, the local adult respite care center, volunteer with the Round Rock Police Department Blue Santa program to wrap holiday gifts for local families, and do many other unique projects throughout the year,

Caring Hands conducts reduce, reuse and recycle events during the year to benefit a wealth of agencies. We also assist Texas Humane Heroes and the Williamson County Animal Shelter, both local no-kill shelters, Soles for Souls, Free the Girls, which combats sex trafficking, the Period Project to collect sanitary products, our local women’s shelter with cell phone donations, and far too many others to list.

We look forward to “working” with all of you.

Our Luncheon Programs

New Neighbors provides interesting activities and opportunities for growth and connection. Through our programs and special events, we engage members to learn about and to support social and civic activities for fun, awareness, philanthropy, education and foster active ways in which they can participate in the Greater Round Rock area. We invite guest speakers, community leaders, school groups, non-profit and other organizations to present at our monthly Luncheon Programs.

Previous speakers have inspired, educated, and enlightened us with their stories and knowledge. In the coming year we look forward to furthering our connection with the community and continuing to present interesting programs for your enjoyment.
